Computer Aided Design
The CAD models displayed in this section were created through a variety of different software. Projects generally utilize two or more specialized programs in order to achieve the final result.
Logitech M235 Mouse
Surface modeling, In-Context modeling, and manufacturing accuracy were the main focus within this project. I attempted to recreate this mouse as accurately as possible through the use of a caliper and reference images. The animation seen above was my first attempt at animations within Keyshot.
Logitech M86 Mouse
Keyshot material exploration and rendering were the primary focus for this project. Photo-realism was the main goal, with aspects such as Lighting and Camera Setting being heavily studied.
Philips Sensotouch Razor
Traditional reverse engineering methods were used to recreate this part. All bosses and details within the part were able to snap onto the original product housing. Due to 3D printing material, snap-fit features were not strong enough to support the attachment and removal processes.
Dettol Soap Pump
This project was done as an exercise to become familiar with in-context assembly modeling and configurations. The primary goal was to create a model within 0.5mm tolerance of its real life counterpart that would be able to demonstrate the internal workings of the pump mechanism and the relationship between each part.
